Age 10 Survey – Medical check
To celebrate 50 years of BCS70, over the course of the year we’ll be highlighting interesting features of the study’s design, delving deeper into the questionnaires and pulling out descriptive statistics from the data.
Study members were given a thorough health check at ages 10 and 46. Both times, we measured your blood pressure, height and weight. We also asked you to stand on one leg for 30 seconds (63% of you managed at age 10 and 87% at age 46.)
But at age 10, we also asked you to complete other coordination tasks (with varying success rates!):
