It’s the decade that started with a bang: an unprecedented pandemic that took over the world, and changed our lives. We took up Zooming and jogging, started baking and crafting, worried about lockdowns and the R rate, and tried to find joy in the small pleasures of life. As the COVID-19 crisis has unfolded, we have surveyed BCS70 participants three times, along with participants in four other national longitudinal cohort studies. We are now making plans to launch our next major BCS70 survey, which we had to pause when the pandemic hit, and are really excited to follow the next chapter in your lives.
Life in your early 50s
From this summer, we hope to start catching up with you all to find out how your generation is faring in your early 50s. The survey will take place over at least 12 months, and at first we’ll be asking study members to take part via a video call.
